Test run outside with 2 cups of green beans w/ goal of French roast 465*F.  Roaster is solid steel, robust construction.  Speed controller is a bit touchy, be gentle.  Heat source was 1lb butane camp stove.  About 450*F, the temp bounced 430*F-450*F.  Not enough BTUS w/  camp stove. Even so-got a good roast, delicious.  Ordered outdoor propane burner.  Will add heat guards on sides w/ pie plate foil for extra protection of motor and handle.
