I love this cover but it is mislabeled as nodular iron.  It is not iron at all, well there is some in the drain and fill plugs.  It is the EXACT same casting shape as the Spicer/Dana 9.75 but this one is aluminum  not nodular iron.  This aluminum cover is probably better for heat dissipation. Unless you want it for rock protection and need the 2x heavier Spicer/Dana, get this one.
